From May to June, my photographic series ‘Residues’ will be included within the Espresso Library’s ‘Summer Art Market’ hosted at the café on East Road in Cambridge, United Kingdom.
The Summer Art Market includes all four of the tray framed and archival photographic prints that make up my series ‘Residues’ alongside many other forms of work by: Phil Cope, Jonny Church, Basia D-K, Jak Vollenhoven, Emily Jolley, Sarah Strachan, Stepanka Facerova, Martin Conway, Rhyanna Halasovski, Richard Heaps, Toni Anthony, Lili Roney and Clare Mcewan.
All of the pieces included in the exhibition are available for sale and you can catch the show - and grab a coffee - anytime up until the 25th of June, with the Espresso Library opening daily from 08:00 - 16:00.
On the 8th of June, the curator of the exhibition will also be hosting a ‘Meet The Artists’ event to coincide with the market, so if you’re around, please do pay a visit from 6.30pm onwards, bring friends & support Cambridge’s artistic community.
The Café stages “seasonally changing exhibitions at Cambridge’s two branches of Espresso Library. Curator Amy Stevens is on a mission to bring emerging and established artists to a new audience. An interior designer who trained at Chelsea College of Art and has worked with both Burberry and Tom Dixon, Amy saw an opportunity to showcase artists’ talents within the cafe’s venues on East Road and at Grand Arcade - and Espresso Library Art was the result.” - Velvet Magazine, 2021.
